Seismic performance assessment of existing buildings – EC8-3
With this tutorial, step by step you become acquainted with the add on module Fespa R. Fespa R performs repair and strengthening of existing reinforced concrete buildings and evaluation of the seismic performance of a new building.
This tutorial begins with the building geometry description, continues with the description and editing of the reinforcement arrangement at beam and column ends to conclude with the evaluation of the seismic performance of the building and the results presentation. After the pushover analysis, the Acceleration Displacement Response Spectrum (ADRS) is generated and displayed in 3DV. The capacity ratios, for all members, are derived for every limit state.
